Don Frank Elliott, age 72 of Sedgefield Gate Road, Greensboro and Handy Road, Denton died Monday, as a result of a farm accident.

Mr. Elliott was born October 5, 1933 in Davidson County to Garvin Elliott and Kate Frank Elliott. He was a veteran of the US Army and a graduate of N. C. State University and a retired employee of the U S Department of Agriculture as program administrator and enjoyed working on the family farm all of his life. He was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church

He is survived by his wife Dorothy a son Douglas Bruce Elliott & wife Diana and daughters, Donna Elliott Brown and husband Matt and Amy Elliott Mescanti and husband Damian and 5 grandchildren

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Lineberry United Methodist Church Cemetery in Denton and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Jamestown United Methodist Church in Jamestown.

The family will see friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
